Position: Clinical Coordinator for the School of Radiology
Full-Time 40 Hours
This position serves as the liaison between the School of Radiology and all clinical affiliate sites as well as providing supervision of students and guidance to clinical preceptors. Additionally, this position is responsible for teaching portions of the Radiography didactic program, typically requiring at least one class per semester. This position fulfills the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accreditation requirements for the School of Radiology.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Current American Registry of Radiologic (ARRT) Certification and Registration, or equivalent, in Radiography
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Radiographer License.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Documentation of two years’ clinical experience in the professional discipline.
- Documentation of one years’ experience as an instructor in a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree, or higher
- Documentation of 5 years experience as an instructor in a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program.
- Documentation of 5 years clinical experience in the professional discipline.
- Proficient in curriculum development, supervision of students and clinical preceptors, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
- Possess strong information literacy skills, including the ability to word process and to use spreadsheets, a variety of digital media.
Ability to organize and execute time management skills.
