Continuing Qualifications Requirements, CQR, is a process that technologists will have to perform if they received credentials after 2011.  You will receive notice 7 seven years after your credential date and you have 3 years to complete it (Totaling a 10 year window).

You must gather CQR points in specific categories you were assigned and those will total differently than your Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) earned for maintaining your certification. 

For example:  You may earn 2.5 CEU’s for a lecture or article, but it will count as 0.5 CQR in “Radiation Safety/Dose.”  Each activity you attend/participate in should have both CEU/CQR units available upon request to the hosting society.

2020 – October 2nd and 3rd  =  Annual Conference

2021 – Sept 24th and 25th = Annual Conference

2022 – July 24th = Superficial Radiaton Therapy
