The CSRT’s 74th Annual Conference at Manchester Community College was a great success and included a variety of opportunities for continuing education and networking!
On Saturday, October 1st the annual conference began with a warm welcome and introduction to keynote speaker, Anthony Anderson, who presented “Inside the NFL – A Radiology View”. The day provided a variety of hot topic lectures across three tracks: general radiography, mammography and a student track. Nearly 100 technologists, educators, vendors and students were in attendance!
The business meeting featured a vote for bylaws revisions and a “Year in Review” provided by President Donna Crum outlining many of the CSRT’s accomplishments over the 2015-2016 year. Bylaws revisions were proposed and approved to establish a rolling membership where dues are now effective for 12 months from the date of application or renewal. The Gail Pitkin Memorial Lecture award was presented to Patricia Hatin, for outstanding lecture of the 2016 Annual Confernce. The business meeting concluded with the nominations of the 2016-2017 Board of Directors. An afternoon networking break (with delicious cupcakes!) was offered and election of officers was completed.
